Ⅰ. Background introduction
The International Federation of Philosophical Associations, referred to as "FIAV", was established in Zurich, Switzerland in 1967. It holds the World Congress of Philosophy every two years and has a history of 52 years . Western countries such as Europe and the United States are the main members of the membership. The conferences on banner studies are mainly held alternately in Western countries. In Asia, only Yokohama , Japan, hosted the 23rd World Conference on Banner studies in 2009.
After seven years of hard work, with the support of the Silk Road Planning and Research Center, the Vexillology Research Center of China (VRCC for short) was established in Beijing on March 23, 2019 . Carrying out international exchanges and sharing the achievements of civilization " is the central purpose.
On July 16, 2019, China Philosophy Research Center became the 74th organization member of "FIAV". And at the 26th Alliance Council held in San Antonio, the United States, it successfully won the right to host the 30th Beijing World Congress of Philosophy in 2023.
"Let the Chinese people understand the development achievements of world flags" and "let Chinese flag culture enrich the academic connotation of world flags" . Obtaining the right to host the World Banner Science Conference is an unprecedented event in the history of the Chinese nation. In order to successfully hold the largest and most influential World Congress of Philosophy in history, the flags of the China Philology Research Center are now openly solicited at home and abroad.
