We have chosen the flag of the 30th Beijing International Congress of Vexillology. It is a combination of FIAV knot and VRCC flag. VRCC flag is a yellow flag with nine ribbons and five stars. In oracle bone script, "zhong" (the middle) and "qi" (the flag) are the same character, so I chose the Chinese character "zhong" with nine ribbons. Nine is the largest singular number in Chinese culture. The two flags of "nine ribbons" are combined into the first letter V of "Vexillology", representing the combination of ancient and modern, the intersection of China and the West, with the spirit of times and international vision. The five stars mean "five stars appearing simultaneously from the east is a sign of great benefit for China". Yellow means middle, heart and center in ancient China.

The ICV30 emblem is circular and has the same pattern as the flag.

The ICV30 flag and emblem are officially released to the world at 12:50 Slovenia time (18:50 Beijing time) on July 15th in 2022 at the 27th FIVA Congress in Ljubljana.
